Liesl Savage

BSc Psych (Hons), Certificate in Mindfulness Teaching

I believe that the mind and body are strongly connected and that chronic periods of stress and/or anxiety can have a significant negative impact on one’s physical health. I have experienced this first hand and was introduced to the benefits of Mindfulness during a particularly difficult period of recovery and now use it in my daily life. I consequently trained as a Mindfulness Teacher with the Devon School of Mindfulness (Mindfulness Now) and am passionate about teaching the tools and techniques to others dealing with challenges in their lives.

My particular areas of interest are:

  • carers of children with disabilities and/or complex needs

  • carers of other family members

  • chronic health conditions including pain

  • Menieres Disease & other Vestibular Conditions

  • stress

  • anxiety
